Connie Baird
In Connie's 21 years in real estate in the High Country, she has been a strong believer in giving back to our community. She has worked through the years with many departments at Appalachian State University, doctors with Watauga Medical Center, and the Watauga County School System. Lou Dessaint
Born in Miami, Lou grew up in Pinecrest, Florida and spent the majority of his summers in Blowing Rock. Prior to becoming a permanent resident of Blowing Rock, he farmed in Homestead, Florida and the Bahamian Islands. In Homestead, he headed up operations for Kendall Foods. After a successful career with Kendall Food, he moved to Freeport, Bahamas, where he embarked on an 8-year farming venture. He then returned to Pinecrest for a short while before permanently relocating to Blowing Rock in 1999 with his wife Ginger and their two children. He invested in Real Estate and decided to embark on a Real Estate career in 2000.
